Some Dreadball

You have to love Dreadball. GW created a niche, left, and now Mantic Games is owning it.

The figures are lovely, but the detail on the plastics can be a bit lacking, making them harder to paint. The metals are fine though.

Like most of Mantic's work, there is a lot going on with these figures. It's not as obvious looking at them, but you'll notice once you start painting. If you're a beginner, you want to avoid these till your more confident.

Dreadball is highly affordable, which is a big plus over most wargames. You can buy a team and be up and running for as little as $24.99, retail. The Warstore is a good place to order from.
